Emperor (2012)

Set in post-war Japan, Brigadier General Bonner Fellers (Matthew Fox) is tasked by the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, General Douglas MacArthur (Tommy Lee Jones) to investigate the role of Emperor Hirohito (Takatarō Kataoka) in World War II, in order to establish if he should be tried as a war criminal.
